Garuda Goes To IBL Final For The First Time
Truely sensational. Garuda Bandung sweeps the first 2 games against Aspac Jakarta to get their ticket to the IBL Final 2008. This is the first IBL Final in the history of the club. And more, they made a fantastic record since Aspac dominated the league by playing in final games for the last 3 seasons.
The games were very tight, and both teams played at their best. Garuda scored a 83-82 victory on the first game, and grabbed a 70-68 win on their second game. Garuda’s 2-0 sweep was enough to finish this best-of-three series.
