Signifies a new month, Ramadan now at an end
Hands reach up in prayer, eyes brim with tears
Eid-ul-Fitr is here, time for joy and celebration
Men and women dress up in clothes bright and colourful
All join in the Eid prayer, young and old
Hugs all around, Eid Mubarak greetings reverberate
